Detail Master Case Actions drop down menu
The Actions drop down menu is used to process case actions:
- Mainframe cases are processed entirely in the mainframe part of the N-FOCUS system.
- Expert System cases are added and persons are added in the mainframe but then checked out and processed in the expert system.
Add Person to Master Case: This option is always enabled. Select this option to open the Add Person window where a new person can be added to the Master Case.
Be sure to do a person search before adding a new person to the N-FOCUS system.
How Do I:
Add Person to Program Case: This option is enabled when:
- There is a Mainframe only program case.
- There is more than one person in the Master Case.
- The person to be added is highlighted in the Master Case Person list.
Select this option to open the Existing Programs window to add the person to any of the existing Expert system program case(s).
Add Program Case: Select this option to open the New Programs window. Program cases can be added to the Master Case for one or any combination of master case persons. EF cases may be added only if the participant is in pending in an ADC Program Case. If not, they must be added in the Expert System.
How Do I:
Close Case Person: This option is enabled when:
- There is a Mainframe only program case.
- There is more than one person in the Program Case
- The person to be closed is in the Program Case.
- The person to be closed is highlighted in the Master Case Person list.
Select this option to open the Close Case Person window where a person can be closed from a mainframe program case.
Reopen Case Person: This option is enabled when:
- There is a Mainframe only program case
- The person has been closed in the Program Case
- The person has a status of in household
- The person to be reopened is highlighted in the Master Case Person list.
Select this option to open the Reopen Case Person window where the reopen dates are entered.
Change Master Case Name: Select this option to open the Change Master Case Name window.
Household Status: This selection is enabled when person is highlighted in the Master Case Person list. Select this option to open the Household Status window where the status can be changed and the Household History can be viewed.

Family Relationships: Select this option to open the Family Relationships List window. It displays a list of relationships for persons in the Master Case or persons selected from the CHARTS referral. Family relationship and marital information can be added or updated only for persons who are not in an Expert system program cases.

CHARTS Referral: Select this option to open the CHARTS Referral List window where the Referrals to Child Support Enforcement are created and listed.

Tie Program to Application: Select this option to open the Tie Application to Program Case window.

Update Program Mode: Select this option to open the Set Program Case Mode window.
Interview Tracking: Select this option to open the List Interview window. Information about interview tracking will be added in this window.
IRF Tracking: Select this option to open the List Interview Tracking window.
Review/Recert Tracking: Select this option to open the Review Recertification List window. It displays the Certification Period for Food Stamp program cases and the Next Review Due By date for all other program cases. The Next Review Due By date may be updated from this window.

Update Review Dates in the Mainframe
Copy Person Index Info: This option is enabled after a Master Case person is highlighted in the Master Case Persons box. Select this option to open the Copy Person Index window.
Print Person Bar Code: This option is enabled after a Master Case person is highlighted in the Master Case Persons box. Select this option to open the Print Bar Code window.
How Do I:
Check Out Case: Select this option to check out Expert System cases to the Expert System for processing.
