Guardianship - Overview
The Guardianship task is used to establish guardianship relationships for CFS persons and ADC program participants.
Completion of this task is not mandatory for the system to work. Information should be added as required by the program policy.
CFS cases:
Record the guardianship of active “participants” and “CFS participants”.
A person is eligible to have a guardianship role established for them if the an active “participant” or “CFS participant” in a CFS case during any time period.
Do not include unborns.
ADC cases:
Record guardianship or conservator roles of participants.
A person is eligible to have a guardian or conservator role established for them if they are active or pending in an ADC case during any time period.
Do not include unborns.
People eligible to be a guardian must be 18 year of age on the current date, and listed as a member of the master case.
A child may have one or more guardians.
A guardian may be guardian to one or more children.
