Living Arrangement - Overview

Living Arrangement is a mandatory task for AABD, ADC, FW/MED, and all Medical programs in active, pending, spenddown, and ineligible status.

Living Arrangement information is used to update MMIS, Managed Care, and Copay. It is also used to determine standard of need, shelter allowance, and medically needy income levels used in budgeting.

Food Stamp only cases do not need to process this task.

Living arrangement will allow entry of past, current and future dates forward for 2 months. New program cases will have a living arrangement date set 4 months prior to the beginning of the program case. This date can be changed in the Update function.

Living Arrangement status for an unborn is completed by entering the mother’s information. This information is transferred to the unborn, even when the mother is not in the program case.

When the living arrangement type is changed to Assisted Living - Waiver an informational message will advise the worker to open a Waiver program case.

Living Arrangement does not require verification.

Alerts are not generated from this task.
