Medicare - Summary

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Medicare Summary view is informational, no actions can be taken.

This window displays all instances of Medicare that have been created.

Persons in a current case status are listed first.

Persons in closed or denied case status are list next.

Persons are listed in order of age, oldest to youngest.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

LAST NAME: This field displays the last name of any master case person with Medicare information.

FIRST NAME: This field displays the first name of the master case person with Medicare information.

DOB/EDD: This field displays the person’s date of birth.

AGE: This field displays the person’s current age.

NUMBER:  This column displays the person's Agency Related Person number.

Medicare Type: This field displays the Medicare eligibility according to type:

• Part A – Hospital Coverage
• Part B – Medical Coverage

Claim Number: This field displays the Medicare beneficiary’s claim number with alpha suffix (alpha suffix is required).

Begin Date: This field displays the date this instance of Medicare coverage began for the person.

End Date: This field displays the date this instance of Medicare coverage ended for this person.

ACTION BUTTONS:

The Help button is always enabled. Select ‘Help’ to display the help information relating to the Medicare task.
