The Allegation windows for Adult Protective Service displays some different fields than those for Child Abuse/Neglect. For this document, fields available only to APS will be in dark red ink and those available only to Child Abuse/Neglect will be in dark green ink.
Select Alleged Victim: Select this option to open the Person Search window. On this window enter the victim's name to see if the person is known to the N-FOCUS system.
Select Alleged Perpetrator: Select this option to open the Person Search window. On this window enter the perpetrator's name to see if the person is known to the N-FOCUS system.
Adult Protective Services:These options become available when the Allegation is saved. Select the small arrow4to select these APS options:
Victim Living Information: Select this option to open the Victim Living Information window.
Victim Characteristics: Select this option to open the Person Characteristics window for the victim.
Perpetrator Characteristics: Select this option to open the Person Characteristics window for the perpetrator.
Enter Finding: This option is enabled when the Intake is closed and there is no Finding entered (exception is finding of Petition to be Filed). Select this option to open the Finding Information window.
Update Finding: This option is enabled only for Supervisors and designated Central Office staff. It is used to correct a Finding.
Enter Expungement: This option is enabled only for select Central Office staff when the Finding is Inconclusive or Court Substantiated. It is used to open the Expungement Information window.
Print Notice to Alleged Perpetrator: This option is used to print the Notice to the alleged perpetrator. The Print window opens.
