The Reopen Intake popup window opens when a Protection and Safety Supervisor selects the Reopen Intake function on the Detail Intake window. It is used to change the Intake status from “closed” to “open” so additional actions can be taken.
How do I:
This box displays a list of the actions available with the reopen action. Select the check box to the left of each action that should be taken.
Existing Allegation Findings will be cleared: This action deletes all associated allegation findings.
Existing Tie to CFS Case will be severed: This action breaks the tie between the intake and CFS pr APS program case.
Existing Notice to Reporter will be destroyed: This is a default action. If deselected, a message displays indicating a new Notice cannot be created if the existing one is not destroyed.
Existing Law Enforcement Notice will be destroyed: This is a default action. If deselected, a message displays indicating a new Notice cannot be created if the existing one is not destroyed.
Existing Notice to Perpetrator(s) will be destroyed: If selected, a message displays indicating more than one notice may be created.

Select the OK button to accept the reopen actions checked in the list. The Reopen Intake Confirmation window opens. |

Select the Cancel button to close the window without taking any reopen actions. |
