Kinship Narrative

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Kinship Narrative window is used to document the relationships between the persons involved in a Safety Assessment.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Entry Point:  The area under the Save and Close and Save and Next icons displays the
Safety Assessment Detail

Detail Program Case

etcentry point used to open the Safety Assessment Kinship Narrative window.

Mode:  The area under the N-FOCUS Main Menu icon displays the current
ADD
UPDATE
INQUIRYwindow mode.

Involved People List Box:

This box lists the persons involved in the Kinship Narrative area of the Safety Assessment.

Last:  This column displays the person's last name.

First:  This column displays the person's first name.

Middle:  This column displays the person's middle name.

Ext:  This column displays the person's
jr. or sr. etc.name extension if they have one.  

ACTION BUTTONS:

	Select the Add button to open the Add Involved People window.
	The Remove button is enabled when a person line is highlighted.  Select the button to remove the person from the list of involved persons.  A warning message opens.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Narrative Information Group Box:

Subject:  This field displays the type of narrative.

Occurrence Date:  This field defaults to the current date but may be changed to any prior date.

Item:  This field lists the types of Kinship Narrative in the drop down list.  Using the save and next icon will scroll through each type.

Record:  This field displays the date the Narrative is recorded in the case file.

Created By:  This field displays the logon ID of the staff person entering the Kinship Narrative.

Last Updated By:  This field displays the logon ID of the staff person who last updated the Kinship Narrative.

Status:  This field displays the current status of the Kinship Narrative.

Narrative Descriptions Box:

This box gives a description of the items that should be covered in this for this type of Kinship Narrative.

Narrative Box:

This is the area where the narrative text is entered.

ACTION BUTTONS:

	Select the Spell Check button to open the Spelling and Grammar window.
	Select the Maximize Narrative Text button to open the Detail Narrative Text window.
	Select the Previous button to view or enter the Kinship Narrative for the Narrative item before the current one.
	Select the Next button to view or enter the Kinship Narrative for the Next Narrative item.
