Set Defaults

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Set Defaults window open when the set defaults option is selected in the Options drop down menu on the Detail Trust Fund Batch window. It is used to enter transaction information that will be used for all similar transactions. Any combination of the default fields may be completed.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Payee Group Box:

This box is used to set a default payee for a series of transactions

Type: Select the type of payee from those in the drop down list.

Name: Select the Search Search button to open the Search Organization window for organization payees or the Person Search window for person payees and return the payee name.


Description: Enter the description from those in the drop down list. The list is filtered by the type of payee selected in the type field.

Amount: Enter the default transaction amount.

ACTION BUTTONS:

Select the OK button to save the default information. It will display in the corresponding field(s) on the Detail Trust Fund Batch window when creating transactions.
Select the Clear button to remove any current default information. The window stays open for other default information and the corresponding fields on the Detail Trust Fund Batch window display blank.
Select the Cancel button to close the window without saving any default information.
