WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Detail Program Service window displays information about a Program Service as it relates to a specific Service Type.

  • View the Program Service
  • Edit the Program Service (Central Office function only)
  • Add a new Program Service (Central Office function only)

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Service Group Box:

Long: This field displays the long name of the Service Type

Short: This field displays the abbreviated version of the Service Type long name. When the long name is less than 25 characters, the long and short name will be the same.

Program: This field identifies the program that covers the Service Type. Once a program has been selected from the drop down list and saved, the field cannot be changed.

IV-E Payment: This check box indicates whether the Program Service can be covered by IV-E funds. Editing this field is a Central Office function.

MED Eligible: This check box indicates whether special security is needed to create a Service Authorization using this service. Editing this field is a Central Office function.

Service Needs Assessed: Select this option if a Service Needs Assessment is required in order to authorize the Program Service.

Automatic Claim Notice: - Select this option to generate the Automatic Claim Notice.

Note: Only the following Service Type Categories are eligible to have an Automatic Claim Indicator. (Out-of-Home Placement, Adoption Services, Guardian Services and Family Preservation/Reunification Services)

Send to EVV : This option will be selected based on programs that have home based services and those services have been identified to be logged within the Electronic Visit Verification system.

Tribal Eligible: This option will be selected to indicate that the Service is Tribal eligible as of 12/11/2022. The following Services are currently Tribal eligible:

  • Parenting Time/Supervised Visitation (8873)

  • Parenting Time Service Prep (6373)

  • In-Home Family Support (7171)

  • In Home Service Prep (6582)

  • Out of Home Family Support (7443)

  • Out of Home Service Prep (3386)

  • Healthy Families of America (HFA) (7702)

  • Family Center Treatment (FCT) (9474 ,5549)

  • Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) (9759)

QRTP Eligible: This check box indicates the service is for placement of a child at a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) accredited placement.

Limited IV-E Exempt: This check box indicates the service is for a placement of a child at a placement setting that is exempt from the limits to IV-E, based upon the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) regulations.

Note: The QRTP Eligible and Limited IV-E Exempt cannot be checked at the same time.

With Parent in Facility Eligible: This check box indicates the service is for placement of a child with the parent in a Residential Substance Use facility.

Prevention IV-E Eligible:This check box indicates the service is approved by Children and Family Services as a Prevention service.

Service Approval Type: The selected option in this field indicates how the service type is covered (i.e. Services Contract, Subaward, None)

Prevention Level: This field indicates the level of Prevention IV-E Eligibility for the service. (i.e. Promising, Supported, Well Supported)

Note: The Prevention Level field is only active when the Prevention IV-E Eligible option is checked.

Days Service Available Per Year: This field displays the number of days per year that DD Residential and DD Day Services are available.

DD Discount Percentage: This field indicates if the DD service is subject to a 10% rate reduction.

Description: This field displays additional information about a particular Program Service in narrative format. Adding a description is a Central Office function.

Dates Group Box:

Begin: This field displays the date the Program began covering the Service Type.

End: This field displays the date the Program actually stops covering the Service type.

Proposed End: This field displays the date the Program expects to stop covering the Service Type

ACTION BUTTON:

The OK button is not enabled. Adding and saving data is a Central Office function.
Select the Cancel button to cancel any changes and return to the Detail Service Type window.
The Proposed Close button is not enabled. Closing a Program Service is a Central Office function.
The Close Program Service Type button in not enabled. Closing a Program Service Type is a Central Office function.
