Payee Payment Method Overview

It is the goal of DHHS to issue payments electronically whenever possible due to the cost savings incurred by paying electronically as opposed to paying by warrant.

DHHS currently supports two electronic payment methods and will always retain the ability to issue paper warrants in certain circumstances.

Account information can be created for either Client (grant) or Vendor (provider) payee types.

Access to the information is controlled by security levels.
