List - Detail FCRO Restraint

The List - Detail FCRO Restraint window is used to document information about restraints used during a child's review period. Information includes type and frequency of restraint, if the restraint resulted in injury, the number of injuries and medical attention provided.

This window can be opened from either the Detail FCRO Review window or the FCRO Court Information window.

The Type of Restraint is the only mandatory field.  Any of the other fields may be updated or left blank.

Where codes are used, the explanation of the code displays when the Add button is used to move the information to the list box.  If an incorrect code is entered the field will turn red and must be corrected.

If the child was restrained during care of a service provider, that information is documented by adding the name of the provider organization.

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Last: This field displays the last name of the FCRO child. For private adoptions, this field displays the adoption identifier.

First: This field displays the first name of the FCRO child. For private adoptions, this field is blank.

Restraint List Box:

The Restraint list displays a list of all incidents of restraint associated with this review.  The list will be sorted by type of restraint.  The Details of a Restraint incident can be updated by highlighting a line and selecting the Update button.  

Restraint Type:  This column displays the type of restraint.

Injury:  This column indicates if injury resulted from the restraint.

Provider Name:  This column displays the name of the provider involved in the restraint.

Restraint Frequency:  This column displays the frequence of restraints.

Injury Group Box:

Type of Restraint:  Enter the type of restraint code.

Frequency of Restraint:  Enter the frequency of restraint code.

Resulted in Injury:  Enter the code to indicate if the restraint resulted in injury.

Number of Injuries:  Enter the number of injuries.

Medical Attention Received:  Enter the code to indicate if medical attention was received for the injury.

Number of Times Medical Attention Received:  Enter the number of times the child received medical attention for the injury.

Service Provider Where Restraint Occurred:  Enter the N-FOCUS Organization ID Number.  If the service provider is unknown leave this field blank.

	Select this arrow if the Organization ID is unknown.  The Search Organization window opens to begin the search for the appropriate provider number.
	The Organization icon is enabled when an organization has been selected.  Use the icon to open the Detail Organization window .

Name:  The name of the selected organization displays in this field.

ACTION BUTTONS:

	The Add button is enabled when the type of restraint field is completed.  Select this button to move the information from the Injury group box into the restraint list box.
	The Update button is enabled when a line is highlighted in the restraint list box.  The information from that line is also displayed in the type of restraint, frequency of restraint, resulted in injury, number of injuries, medical attention received, and number of times medical attention received fields.   The information in these fields can be updated and the update button selected to change the information in the list box.
	The Remove button is enabled when a line is highlighted in the restraint list box.  Select the button to remove the information in the selected line.  A warning message will appear to confirm the remove action.  This can be used to correct errors such as the wrong organization selected.
