Add Budget Sanctions

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Add Budget Sanction window opens when the Add button is selected on the Current tab in the Sanctions task.  It is used to add an instance of budget sanction to the case.

Add a Budget Sanction

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Person Group Box:

This box lists all persons in the Master Case without regard to program or household status.  The persons who are active, pending, spenddown or premium due are listed first in order of birth date.  After a space in the list the other persons are listed.  Unborns and deceased person are not listed.  To add a sanction instance highlight the person with the sanction.  

Last Name:  This column displays the last name of the persons in the Master Case.

First Name:  This column displays the first name of the persons in the Master Case.

DOB:  This column displays the persons date of birth.

Sanction Types List Box:

Select the type of sanction from those listed in the drop down list.  The list will only display those sanction types that are appropriate for the person and will not list sanctions already imposed on the person.

Begin Date:  Enter the date (MM-DD-YYYY) the sanction begins.  This date can be in the current month or a past month, but not more than 2 months in the future.  If the date is not a valid date an informational message will open.

End Date:  Enter the date (MM-DD-YYYY) the sanction ends.  The date cannot be before the begin date or more than 2 months in the future.  This date field is used when both the begin date and the end date are entered at the same time.

ACTION BUTTONS

 The Next button is enabled when all mandatory fields have be completed.  It is used to save the sanction information and return to the Add Budget Sanctions window to add another sanction.  If this button is used to save a CSE sanction an error message displays.
 The OK button is enabled when all mandatory fields have be completed.  It is used to save the sanction information and return to the Sanction - Current tab.  If this button is used to save a CSE sanction an error message displays.
 The Cancel button is used to close the window and return to the Sanction - Current tab without saving any newly added information.
 The Help button is always enabled. Select ‘Help’ to display the help information relating to the Sanctions task.
