The Safety Plan Action Item Narrative window is used to document the action plans in place to reduce the threat for the child(ren). It is opened by selection the Plan button on the Detail Safety Plan window.
All narrative fields must be completed for each threat.

CFS Case Name: This field displays the CFS Program Case Person name.
Mode: The current window mode is displayed under the Close icon.
Narrative Group Box:
Select Threat: Select the drop down arrow to displays the threats documented for the Safety Plan. the list will be empty for a new Safety Plan.
THREAT: Enter narrative to describe the threat to the child.
OUTCOME: Enter narrative to describe the desired outcome for the child.
NEEDS: Enter narrative to describe the needs for the child.
STRATEGY: Enter narrative to describe who does what and when to keep the child safe. A backup or contingency plan should also be documented in this section.
MONITORING: Enter narrative to describe how the situation will be monitored.
