Developmental Disabilities

WINDOW OVERVIEW:

The Developmental Disabilities window opens when the Developmental Disabilities icon is selected on the Detail Program or Person Detail window. This window is used to add or update a Developmental Disabilities case.

Developmental Disabilities Overview

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS:

Person Group Box:

Person: This field displays the name of the Program Case Name person.

Mode: To the right of the person box ADD, UPDATE, or INQUIRY will designate the current mode.

Determination Group Box:

Select from the drop down which Determination Status from Eligible, Ineligible, and Terminated.

Date: Enter the date of the eligible or ineligible status.

Termination Reason(s)

This will be view only, unless you have special security to update. Otherwise, these will be updated in the Notice of Decision correspondence window.

DD/MI Dual Diagnosis Group Box:

Select the appropriate radio button to indicate if the diagnosis includes both mental retardation and mental illness.

Eligibility Group Box:

Select (ID/DD) and/or Adaptive Factors.

ID/DD Factor: Select the factor from the drop down list.

Adaptive Factors: Select all of the adaptive factors that apply.

ACTION BUTTONS:

	Select the Save icon to save the information entered on the window and leave the window open.
	Select the Save and Close icon to save the information entered on the window and return to the previous window.
	Select the Policy icon to open the Help region where the online policy manuals are located.
	Select the Exit icon to close this window and return to the previous window.
	Select the Return to Menu icon to close this window and return to the N-FOCUS Main Menu.
