5-015.11 Investigation

473 NAC 5-015.11

Initiation of investigation may include the following:

1. Central Registry check (may be done by phone to Central Office or by submitting Form DSS-1650A);

2. Other records checks;

3. Assignment of a worker to conduct the investigation;

4. Contacting the reporter;

5. Notifying law enforcement;

6. Consulting law enforcement, if appropriate;

7. Establishing collateral contacts; and

8. Contacting the Division of Licensing and Standards, Nebraska Department of Health, as necessary.
