Case Actions - Overview

The Case Actions task is used to add, close, or reopen expert system program cases.

Expert System program cases include: AABD, AD, ADC/MED, CDD, DDAC, DDAD, DDAR, DDCSA, EF, EI, SNAP, FW, IL, KB, LIHEAP, Medicaid, Retro MED, TBI AND TMA-G cases.

No alerts or verifications are generated in this task.

A single selection (click) on the Case Actions task in the navigator opens the VIEW ONLY Case Actions Current Tab. A double selection (double click) on the Case Actions task in the navigator opens the ACTIVE VIEW, where the Add, Close, and Reopen functions are available.

Retroactive Medical eligibility cases are entered and processed as separate program cases. The first month of retroactive eligibility should be selected to begin the processing and an end date for the retroactive period will be required. This allows for 1 to 4 months of retroactive eligibility to be processed in one retroactive case.
