Additional actions can be taken from the Actions Menu List on the Detail Intake window.
Close Intake: Select this action to close the Intake. One or more popup window may then open.
Reopen Intake: This action is enabled for those with the necessary security when the Intake status is “closed”. The Reopen Intake window will open. How Do I - Steps to Reopen an IntakeThe Reopen Intake Confirmation popup window displays.
Approve Intake: This action is enabled for Protection and Safety Supervisors when the Intake status is “closed”. The PS Supervisor selects this option to open the Approve Intake Confirmation window the status where reason and priority are approved.
Update Status Reason/Priority: This action is enabled if the Intake status is Closed, Approved or Final and the person logged on has the security for this function.
Update Intake Type: This action is enabled for those with the necessary security when the Intake status is not “closed”. The Update Intake Typewindow will open.
Change Intake Name: This action enables when a person is highlighted in the Persons/Allegation group box. Select this action to change the name of the intake to the highlighted person's name.
Select Local Office: Select this action to open the Search Office window if a different office location should be listed on the Intake.
Select Received By: Select this action to open the Search Staff Person window if a different person received the Intake.
Add Allegation: Select this action to open the Multiple Allegations window to add allegations to the intake.
Tie Intake to PC: This action is enabled only when the intake status is closed or Approved. Select it to open the Tie Intake to Program Case window.
Select Caller/Reporter: Select this action to open the Add Person window to add the name of the caller/reporter to the intake. The Caller/Reporter Information window will open so the source can be selected.
Remove Caller/Reporter: Select this action to remove the caller/reporter.
Select Person: Select this action to open the Add Person window to add the name of persons involved in the intake.
Search by Address: Select this action to open the Search for Person by Address window to add persons when only their address is known.
Remove Person: This action is enabled when a person is highlighted in the Persons/Allegations list box. Select this action to remove the highlighted person from the intake.
Update Adult/Child Class: Select this action to change the Adult or Child classification for a person highlighted in the Persons/Allegations group box. When the class has been automatically set by use of the person's birthday in the N-FOCUS system, a confirmation window will appear to allow for override of the classification. If the person's birth date is not on the N-FOCUS system, the Indicate Child or Adult popup window will open and the desired selection can be made.
Select Organization: Select this action to open the Search Organization window to add an organization to the intake. When the organization is selected the Select Organization Role window opens.
Remove Organization: This action is enabled when an organization is highlighted in the Organizations list box. Select this action to remove the organization from the Intake. The highlighted organization will be removed.
Update Organization Role: Select this action to open the Select Organization Role window to change the role the organization plays in the Intake.
Print Intake Worksheet: Select this action to print the Intake worksheet. The Print window opens.
Print Law Enforcement Notice: Select this action to print the Law Enforcement notice. The Print window opens.
Print Notice to Reporter: Select this action to print the notice to Caller/Reporter. The Print window opens.
Print APS Case Status Determination: Select this action to print the APS Case Status Determination. The print window opens.
